No body can survive without plugins and I wish that wordpress team should include basic plugins laong with basic installation.

I am really worried at the moment due to permalinks. I did some posts on my blog with default permalink settings and now after changing it to post name, I am not able to access any of my posts. Don’t we have any plugins regarding that?

I needed a plugin badly for contact forms and I have seen one in your post “WP-ContactForm: Akismet Edition “. Only one thing which I don’t need with it and that is Akismet. I think many of my commenter who need to contact me due to akismet because their valid comments are being eaten by Akismet so they have to contact me. Do we have a Akismet free version?

Those are great plugins and we can’t survive without them. I am wondering if we have a plugin which could paste Google ads on sidebars? I have a plugin which put adsense in posts but it doesn’t has the option to put adsense on sidebars or on header or in footer.

There are a lot plugins to find for WordPress. The most are unuseful and you probably won’t use them. But there are a few which you can’t live without.The plugins you mentioned are perfect to use for your blog. But I have to mention that Joost De Valk have some very very useful free wordpress plugins you NEED. CHeck his website yoast.com

It is almost impossible to survive without plugins of wordpress. In very beginning, i even didn’t know about Akismet and it remained non-active for 6 months. I had to check all comments. I think our negligence and lack of knowledge always make it difficult to achieve our goals. Anyways I am more than happy to have wordpress as my blogging platform.
