Do You Need Help with Web Design?

At Emz Design one of my goals is to write informative posts about web design, and web design help in general. I have added a widget to the site that allows you to submit suggestions of what I should write about.

For example, if you’re having problems with a certain aspect of HTML you can use this widget to tell me to write an article about it.

The widget is by Skribit which you can see on the right hand side of the site. To submit a suggestion all you need to do is click on the text “Need Web Design Help? Suggest a topic for me to write about in my next article!”. This will generate a form for you type in your suggestion.

All you need to do is type in your suggestion and click submit. You don’t have to have an account with Skribit to do this so there’s no registration forms for you to fill in. Just type in your suggestion, click submit and it’s done!

A great thing about this is when a suggestion has been made, a Vote button is added to it so people can Vote for your suggestion as well. Obviously the suggestions with the most Votes I will concentrate on first, but all suggestions will get an article dedicated to it.

It doesn’t even have to be web design help, you can suggest anything web related for me to write about!

So don’t be shy! Submit a suggestion for me today! :)

  1. Hi Emma,

I voted for some of the basic differences between the allowable HTML/CSS in IE versus Firefox. I am having a terrible time trying to get my Recent Readers widget not to float over my Right Sidebar. It works ‘like it’s supposed to’ in IE, but not in Firefox - ughhh!

  2. I need you help. I have started to learn PHP and I am feeling it difficult to configure PHP setting with dreamweaver. I have searched google for this but found nothing. Please write an article about it containing step by step guideline.

    Thanks

  3. Bill, thanks for the suggestion. I’m always coming accross issues with IE and FF so will work on an article for that :)

Muzammal, please can you be more specific in what problem you’re having with PHP and dreamweaver? Thanks :)

  4. Can you write few words about converting a html website into php one?

  5. Jack, I could, but it depends what you’d want the PHP page to do.

You can easily change the extension of a .html file to .php and it will still render correctly.

What I need to know is if you want it to be able to connect to a database, or do a certain function etc. etc.

  6. You can easily change HTML into CSS in IE.We can change the extension of html file to php.You can write more about the HTML websites.
